Dr. Jaume Pujades

Dr. Jaume Pujadas Olano has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona since 1997. He completed his residency at the Hospital Parc Tauli de Sabadell between 1998 and 2002, where he received the title of specialist in Medical Oncology.
In 2001 he was invited as an external oncologist at the Oncology Department (Lung Cancer Unit) of the Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York (USA).
Between 2002 and 2005 he worked as a researcher at the Laoboratori de Recerca Translacional de l'Institut Catqalà d'Oncología (Translational Research Laboratory of the Catalan Institute of Oncology and the Institute for Oncological Research, combining basic research with assistance and clinical activity as a member of staff medical oncology at the Parc Tauli Hospital de Sabadell . He has joined as principal investigator or collaborator in various studies on colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer and prostate cancer. He also has several publications in scientific journals of international reputation.
Since 2004 he has based its work in healthcare in private centers, responsible of the Lung Unit at the Oncology area at Quirón Barcelona Hospital (until 2008) and later in the Teknon Oncology Institute of Hospital Quirón Teknon (at the present).
Dr. Jaume Pujadas regularly attends and participates in national and international conferences of medical oncology and research.
His interest is to reconcile and bring research and contributions to daily clinical practice within the field of oncology, trying to individualize treatments responding profile and needs of each patient.
